Sea Masters is a rookie underwater robotics engineering team focused on affordable, functional, and safe ROV systems. The team represents Saint Thomas' Episcopal School through Kids Robotic Academy at MATE ROV Competition 2026, Scout class.
The roster mixes 5th, 9th, and 10th grade builders: Imaad Memon, Jack Donewar, Mingzha Du, and Shazil Baig. Their engineering presentation covers company roles, mission constraints, buoyancy, propulsion, and iterative design. Seamaster was built in about 40 to 50 student-hours on a roughly $1,385 budget.
